East Penn is currently seeking a Learning & Development Manager who will be responsible for managing and enhancing our established Learning Path-based manufacturing skills training process, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with business goals across all manufacturing sites. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Learning & Organizational Development.
Experience & Qualifications
5-8 years of experience working in respective department or process area, with at least 2-3 years in leadership roles.
Experience providing training, coaching and guidance to hourly manufacturing employees in respective department/ process areas.
Education/Certification
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, HR, or related field preferred
Skills & Competencies
• Ability to use computer-based training tools incorporating multi-media
• Intermediate math and computer skills, specifically, Excel and Word
• Excellent employee relationship skills to define and subsequently resolve conflict
• Collect and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and take appropriate action using root cause investigation/problem solving/ DMAIC principles
