Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately from the moment they are received until they are delivered to the customer. You will collaborate with various departments, including sales, inventory management, and shipping, to ensure seamless order processing and fulfillment. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will verify order information, ensure products are in stock, and coordinate shipments to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and be adept at using technology to enhance operational efficiency. You will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction by providing timely updates on order status and resolving any issues that may arise during the fulfillment process. Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry in the order management system.
  • Collaborate with inventory management to monitor stock levels and arrange product replenishment as needed.
  • Coordinate with transportation partners to schedule pickups and track outbound shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and any potential delays.
  • Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, shipping errors, or damaged goods in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized records of orders, shipments, and inventory levels for auditing purposes.
  • Perform other duties as required by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or a similar role is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds and operate necessary equipment.
