Overview

East Penn is currently seeking a Process Engineer who will interface with East Penn’s engineering, quality, and manufacturing departments to develop and monitor processes under the guidance/mentorship of an experienced Process engineer as assigned by the department manager/director.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide Engineering support to Manufacturing, Quality, H&S, Sales, Costing, and Maintenance on Automotive products, equipment, and tooling.
  2. Prepare and deliver information, technical reports, and presentations to management, customers, vendors, and technical partners.
  3. Contribute to concept generation and ideation processes.
  4. Maintain and protect the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  5. Perform other duties which may become essential to the position.
  6. Participate in regular technical reviews throughout all phases of a project.
  7. Interact with production and engineering at all levels.
  8. Travel worldwide for the company as required (possibly up to ~25%)
  9. Assist Engineers to interface with internal and external customers to develop new processes.
  10. Create, maintain, and update published technical information.
  11. Support other Process Engineering personnel as needed.
  12. Represent East Penn as a technical interface with Equipment Suppliers.
  13. Support daily operations of the existing manufacturing processes and equipment.
  14. Assist in tracking the performance of processes to ensure the process’ ability to fulfill EPM and customer performance and safety requirements.

 

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

  • Typically, with less than 5 years of Engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with the battery construction process preferred.

 

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or scientific discipline.
